Italian Tech Weekend returns to Toolbox Coworking in Turin on 25 June

The free event will feature a variety of activities, including speeches, an investor room, a trade fair and much more, for an unprecedented fourth edition.

Italian Tech Weekend returns on 25 June at Toolbox Coworking in Turin: this completely free networking event was organised by SEIplus, a non-profit association of young productive minds, to bring together different realities such as startups, innovators and enthusiasts and to enhance the innovative ecosystem, both local and national.

This day of innovation and technology will feature several special guests:

  • Marco Onorato, Founder of Marketing Espresso, who will hold a talk entitled "Community Building Vs Social Management";
  • Luca Altimani, Communication Consultant and Content Creator with a strong sense of irony, and Mattia Marangon, Founder of Legolize and Forbes Top 30 Under 30, who will tell participants how they manage to bring irony into the grey world of work;
  • Edoardo Vasconi, Content Partnership Manager of Startup Geeks, who will tell how he combined his greatest passion with his work by focusing on innovation;
  • Luca Mastella, CEO & Head of Growth of Learnn, for the closing plenary speech.

The free event will feature several activities in addition to the speeches. The novelties of this edition mainly concern three new activities: during the afternoon, in the Investor Room, ten startups will be able to present a pitch in front of important investors - including Plug and Play, Vento and Club degli Investitori - and business incubators such as I3P and 2i3T.

Throughout the day, some participants, divided into teams, will be able to test themselves in a creative Challenge, conceived in collaboration with the main partners Ask To Design and FabLab Turin: the challenge will focus on the use of technology as a means for social innovation. The groups will be mentored by professionals.

Finally, the nerve centre of the event will be the Startup and Scaleup Fair, which will be attended by both start-ups and more established brands, such as Young Platform. Each reality will be able to tell its story at its stand, also organising activities related to its business and designed specifically for participants.
