Turin, continuing its momentum of innovation, is ready to welcome the National Center on AI. A first concrete step in this direction is evidenced by the great effort made by the most important institutional and industrial players part of the local ecosystem to make the 18th edition of the A&T Fair a unique event at the national level.
The House of Artificial Intelligence will be the first major new feature of the Turin event scheduled for the next three days at the Oval Lingotto in Turin. A space where 19 large companies, SMEs and startups, both Italian and international, will present applications and smart technologies functional to the world of manufacturing and supply chain. From cognitive robots to a rover for lunar exploration, from smart algorithms to support quality and worker safety, to ChatGTP to support predictive maintenance.
The objective of this initiative, unique in Italy, is to instill a sense of confidence and positive outlook in the context of AI adoption by industry: it will then be possible to understand the use of the latest generation of industrial systems starting from alreadỳ functioning application cases and associate specific production needs with targeted, high-performance technologies.
Hubs dedicated to Intralogistics, Industrial Supply Chains, Microchips and Semiconductors, together with Testing and Metrology Demonstrators, for quality control in production, will complete the renewed exhibition structure, a cohesive expression of the entire Piedmont region.
Premio Innovazione 4.0
It now exceeds 1,000 the number of testimonials and innovation projects submitted in the 8 editions of the prestigious national award promoted by A&T whose Industrial Scientific Committee of the Fair, for the 2024 edition, has selected 9 particularly innovative projects.
The awardee will receive an iconic object made of methacrylic resin printed with stereolithography technology and will have a voucher worth 5,000 euros that he or she can use to participate as an exhibitor at the Northeast edition of A&T from Nov. 6-8, 2024 in Vicenza or the 2025 edition in Turin.
13 ambassadors for the fair
Aluminum is the chemical element in the periodic table that has Al as its symbol and 13 as its atomic number. So it will be no coincidence that A&T's Innovation Ambassadors are precisely 13: men and women representing important industrial supply chains, who have chosen to make themselves available to the general public to offer, during the three-day Fair, visions and ideas that are concretely useful, aimed at the thousands of companies of all sizes grappling with the current competitive challenges related to the digital and green transition. The Ambassadors also support and promote the Innovation 4.0 Award together with the Scientific and Industrial Committee.
