Turin and Piedmont are preparing to meet the challenge of digital transformation to establish themselves as a laboratory of innovation. This is why The Digital Matchwas created, a position paper commissioned by Turin Chamber of Commerce and Unione Industriale di Torino and elaborated by Torino Wireless and PwC. The document was drafted with the aim of highlighting the strengths and collect ideas, suggestions, intentions and commitments of many actors in the area to place Turin and Piedmont at the center of national and international strategies on digital transition: in this way, thanks to a common and shared course of action, it will be easier to attract investment, talent and businesses, outlining an image of a strong and organized territory in promoting the growth of production.
More than 100 stakeholders have been involved, including institutions and businesses in the area to outline together a possible and desirable scenario of all-round collaboration between the business world, academia and institutions to create a digital ecosystem, rich in opportunities thanks to the assets and skills already present in the area.
The Digital Match analyzes six main verticals, useful to guide Turin towards the enhancement of its strengths and the elimination of existing criticalities in order to become one of the main European places of reference for the digital transition:
- Digital skills;
- Infrastructure and data;
- Digital and interconnected services;
- Advanced finance;
- Innovation, ethics and culture;
- Communication and promotion.
On The Digital Match website you can download and consult the position paper and submit your ideas, joining the players in the area who have already taken action with their initiatives and proposals.
