Reefilla and Screevo are the winning startups of the Digital Factory 2022 call for innovation by Leasys and I3P

They will receive resources to develop a Proof-of-Concept and will work directly with the Leasys and Leasys Rent companies.

The Digital Factory call for innovation, promoted by Leasys, the Stellantis brand and leader in long-term rentals in Italy, and I3P, was launched in January 2022 with the aim of identifying innovative solutions that could make a decisive contribution to the technological and digital transformation of Leasys and Leasys Rent , and was a great success: in the six weeks since the call was opened, 20% more applications were sent in from all over Italy and abroad than in the previous edition.

This year's call was included in the Start&Pulse programme of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, dedicated to Open Innovation. The call focused on the selection of technological processes that could improve the user experience and internal processes to enhance the development of know-how in the company.

Giuseppe Scellato, President of I3P, commented: "We are deeply satisfied with the excellent results obtained by the initiative that we had the pleasure of carrying out together with the Leasys group. For years, our incubator has been carrying out many technology exploration projects in the area of Open Innovation and Digital Factory has proved to be a particularly valuable opportunity to bring together young companies with cutting-edge projects with the corporate entities most attentive to the opportunities of digital transformation, such as Leasys and Leasys Rent. The path undertaken with this call has borne fruit, bringing benefits to all those involved, and we are ready to support new initiatives to continue to foster the development of the ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship".

Reefilla

(Turin)

Winning Startup

Founded in 2021 and incubated at I3P, it wants to make the user forget about the problem of recharging the battery of electric vehicles by offering a mobile recharging service that predictively calculates the need. The service monitors the location and state of charge of the car: when the battery level falls below a certain threshold, Reefilla proposes a recharge. If accepted, the operator reaches the car and connects the device, which is able to deliver approximately 100/120 km of autonomy in 30 minutes, without the need to search for a free charging column in the vicinity, to reach it and then having to move the car once the operation is complete.
