CNH Industrial Ventures, the startup and innovation investment branch of CNH, is formed

The corporate evolution of the Exor holding’s multinational continues, following the separation from Iveco at the beginning of the year.

The newly formed CNH Industrial Ventures was created as a grouping of CNH Industrial's strategic investments, bringing together all of the group's existing minority interests, such as those in the agricultural technology of Augmenta or in the self-driving electric tractor company Monarch Tractor. The new investment arm will also play an instrumental role in the search for new opportunities in innovative areas. As stated in a company note, " strategic investments in digital and tech startups have and will continue to support the company's organic capabilities and product offerings".

CNH Industrial's 2022 has begun with the spin-off from Iveco, an operation that will completely shift the company's focus to the design and manufacture of agricultural and construction equipment. In order to strengthen the company's position as an innovative leader in these two fields, the investments and partnerships to be set up by CNH Industrial Ventures will aim to connect the company with innovative enterprises in the fields of alternative fuels research, digital technology, autonomous driving and robotics.

Michele Lombardi, Vice President of Corporate Development at CNH Industrial, commented: "CNH Industrial Ventures will take a strong partnership approach. We aim to leverage our extensive expertise, market penetration and asset base to help fast-growing companies that are redefining the future of agriculture and construction".
