The new year begins immediately under a lucky star with regard to the Turin innovation ecosystem: Intesa Sanpaolo has formalized its agreement with TIM and Google Cloud for the construction in Turin of a digital platform dedicated to Bank services.

The definitive agreements, signed at the turn of 2021, provide for a migration to Google's clouds of a considerable amount of data from the Intesa Sanpaolo information system. The banking group, already projected into the future by its Innovation Center, is continuing its evolution into a digital company also committing itself to create a series of widespread and shared benefits: for its customers but also for the territory, for the business fabric of the city and for the relaunch of the attractiveness of Turin which, according to the annual Rota report drafted by Einaudi Center, is experiencing a period of decline. This evolution has the objective of not only involving Intesa Sanpaolo but the whole city and country.

Fabio Fregi, head of Google Cloud Italy, reiterated its intention to support this systemic change, commenting: “Our services and infrastructures can support the evolution of the Italian industrial, banking and public system. The two cloud regions will be able to support the digital and economic growth of the country and they will be at the service of all companies that want to transform and digitize themselves ".
