"In a historical phase of great uncertainty for the Italian industry, companies are called to plan the restart, reinventing their business models in a timely and effective way," said Mauro Marchiaro, Senior MD & Head of Strategy Consulting at Accenture. That's why the consulting firm has just opened Industry X Innovation Center Turin, the innovation center where innovative solutions applicable to Accenture-branded consulting products will be put to the test, in order to make them deployable in various industries.
From design and engineering to digitization, each phase of the product lifecycle will be tested using the digital twin methodology, i.e. through a digital replica of the physical product. Even the phases of management control will be rethought thanks to the tests carried out in the center, in particular what concerns cybersecurity connected to industrial processes.
The concept of ecosystem will be central to the center's activities: in fact, everything will take place thanks to best practices based on collaboration and co-creation that will serve to encourage a choral response from multiple interconnected industries, as required by modern market demand. The Industry X Innovation Center Turin will employ a multidisciplinary team of 50 professionals from different backgrounds such as designers, SW developers, HW engineers, data scientists, UX/UI designers and storytellers.
Once again, our city and its innovative potential have been highlighted during the presentation of the project. In fact, Mauro Marchiaro concluded: "This center is located in a city that is a symbol of the national industrial tradition and it's addressed to all the realities that want to accelerate their digital transformation path.
