SocialFare, Italy's first Centre for Social Innovation and a MISE-certified incubator, launches the new edition of its call for social impact startups offering a four-month intensive acceleration programme, support from a team of multidisciplinary professionals, access to a network of prestigious mentors and investors, and a seed investment of up to €100,000 for each startup.
The call PLANET FOUNDAMENTALS, which focuses on supporting the development of early-stage business ideas, with the 2023 edition reaches its 15th edition from 2016 to date. In recent years, 100 start-ups have benefited from the programme and raised more than EUR 40 million in funding. The fields of expertise for this call are Ambiente, Salute, Istruzione e Coesione Sociale nell’ambito del tema Ecosistemi Urbani per il Bene Comune.
The call is aimed at motivated and dedicated teams with an early-stage and a product on the market. The legal form of the companies can be established (innovative startups, SIASV, S.r.l.) or still in the startup phase. It requires an intentional, additional and measurable social innovation, that stands out for offering a highly innovative product/service.
SocialFare will offer selected startups:
- 4 months of intensive acceleration with a full-time offline and online programme at Rinascimenti Sociali (Turin);
- seed fund cash of up to €100,000 in exchange for equity of up to 15%;
- dedicated acceleration team composed of experts in service design, business planning, investment readiness, social impact assessment;
- networking with 50+ mentors and investors and access to the prestigious network of impact investors, mentors and advisors
- desk in the co-working area and meeting rooms;
- access to events organised at the headquarters in the heart of Turin.
