The founder of Amazon, Blue Origin and the $10 billion Bezos Earth Fund will be the special guest of the new edition of Italian Tech Week, one of Europe’s leading tech conferences. The announcement comes at a particularly positive time for the Italian technology ecosystem, which in the first quarter of 2025 reached a value of $82 billion, with $315 million raised in investments, of which $68.8 million was earmarked for artificial intelligence.
Bezos perfectly embodies this year’s theme, “The Wave Ahead,” which celebrates those who manage to ride the wave of innovation before it becomes visible. The 2025 edition promises an even richer and more engaging experience, with over 15,000 participants expected in Turin to discuss AI, space, climate, mobility and health.
The two main stages, masterclasses, events spread throughout the city and, for the first time, the introduction of paid premium passes that will offer access to exclusive lounges and networking opportunities have been confirmed. Access to the main program will remain free, maintaining the inclusive spirit that has made Italian Tech Week a point of reference for the tech community.
Diyala D’Aveni, CEO of Vento, commented: “Having Jeff Bezos with us at Italian Tech Week this year sends a powerful message: the world is watching, and Italy is ready to play a role on the tech scene. Our first-quarter results show that we are not on the fringes of European tech – we are building companies that can compete on a global stage. With more international capital coming in, more Italian entrepreneurs expanding across borders, and a stronger pipeline of deep tech and AI startups, the momentum is undeniable. I am happy to announce this new edition of Italian Tech Week to continue to put Italy at the center of the discussion.”
With the introduction of evening events, special guests, entertainment and live podcast recordings with the most influential voices in the industry, the 2025 edition aims to strengthen its role as a catalyst for European innovation.
