Piedmont, historically recognized as the hub of the Italian automotive industry, embarks on a new initiative to strengthen its position in the sector: the birth of the Vehicle Valley. The President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, underlined the importance of this initiative, highlighting the presence in the area of entrepreneurial excellence and high-level scientific knowledge. The goal is to create a network that favors growth, attracts new investments and promotes the territory also through tourism linked to business culture, with the aim ofconsolidating the production chain, attracting investments and enhancing local know-how. At a time of great transformations, between the electric transition and the challenges imposed by international tariffs, the Vehicle Valley proposes itself as a driver of innovation and intelligent mobility.
The founding members of the “Vehicle Valley” association include prominent names such as Italdesign and Pininfarina, as well as institutions and associations such as the Turin Industrial Union, API, Turin Chamber of Commerce, CNA Turin, ANFIA and the Piedmont Region. This strategic collaboration aims to create synergies between companies, research bodies and institutions to enhance cultural, training and research activities in the automotive sector, as well as to attract investment and disseminate knowledge and skills.
