At WMF 2025 the I3P incubator with 7 startups in its network

From 4 to 6 June, the Incubator of the Polytechnic University of Turin and a group of young companies supported will be present at We Make Future 2025 in Bologna.

An immersion in the future: this is how the Italian and international trade fair We Make Future, or WMF, presents itself, which in three days – from Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 June 2025 – will offer over 100 thematic events and a unique format that combines the exhibition area, training, B2B meetings, networking, culture, concerts, shows and entertainment, again this year within the spaces of BolognaFiere.

After the 2024 edition, which recorded over 70,000 visitors from 90 countries, more than 700 exhibitors and over 1,000 speakers from around the world, the WMF is once again bringing together a roster of exceptional guests, with the brightest minds and realities of international innovation in sectors such as digital tech, artificial intelligence (AI), open innovation and social innovation. Alongside the protagonists of the technology and business sectors, the WMF will also host representatives of institutions and academia, who will contribute with insights on fundamental issues for the development of innovation.

I3P, the Incubator of the Polytechnic University of Turin, which has been supporting the birth and development of innovative startups with high technological intensity and growth potential for over 25 years, will also be present at WMF 2025. Representing the multitude of entrepreneurial talents at home at the Campus of the Polytechnic University of Turin will be seven young companies from the I3P network, who will attend the Bologna festival together with the incubator to talk about their innovative projects and seize the meeting opportunities offered by the WMF.

I3P startups at WMF 2025

The companies that will populate the exhibition area dedicated to I3P are Astradyne, Clearbox AI, Dropper, Midori Connect, Mulini, PlantzCare and Salute360. Their projects, active in very different sectors, are united by the high degree of innovation, not only technological, and by the ability to respond to the challenges of their respective reference markets.

  • Astradyne has developed an innovative technology called FRET (Flexible, Reinforced Electronics with Textile), which can use textile material to reinforce flexible electronic boards (Flex PCBs) and thus make new applications possible. The first conceived is SolarCube, a solar panel with an origami-inspired design capable of solving the typical limitations of solar panels in the aerospace field, namely high mass and low ability to produce energy.
  • Clearbox AI is a young company born in I3P, with a team from the best technological universities in Europe, which helps companies launch AI projects through the generation of synthetic data. The latter are data generated by artificial intelligence algorithms based on real data, which recreate real-life situations. Clearbox AI’s most recent project, Replica Italia, consists of a digital twin of the entire country and its 60 million inhabitants.
  • Dropper is a startup that uses artificial intelligence to analyze the flows of people in real time, ensuring privacy and offering strategic metrics to improve the use of buildings. At the heart of the project is the protection of privacy: all the data acquired by the detectors installed in the field are collected anonymously, thanks to the technology used for counting, and then transmitted to the cloud to make them available to customers on a tailor-made platform.
  • Midori Connect, a tech company specializing in the analysis and enhancement of energy data, has developed Ned, a mobile energy coachingplatformthat provides energy monitoring services for household appliances with specific and data-driven insights to guide users to a more responsible use of energy. NED’s technology integrates patented algorithmsto identify how energy is used in buildings in order to make them more sustainable, efficient and safe.
  • Mills is a startup specializing in R&D on the security and privacy of cyber-physical systems. Its solutions are the result of years of research and open source contributions in IoT security, privacy, and auditing for the consumer, industrial, and medical sectors. Mulini offers IoT security solutions and develops AI tools for cybersecurity threat detection , critical infrastructure protection , and device auditing for certification and regulatory compliance.
  • PlantZCare is an innovative startup founded in February 2025 active in the smart agriculture sector. The young company offers a wearable sensor for plants, designed and built to assess the health of crops in a simple and low-cost way. The solution lends itself to agricultural applications for food production, where PlantZCare allows the efficiency of the use of water and nutrient resources to be administered to crops in a targeted way.
  • Health360 is a digital health company committed to transforming the way patients and healthcare professionals connect and interact. He designed and developed an integrated platform that simplifies access to trusted health information and digital services, in full compliance with European health regulations and the US HIPAA law. Its mission is to make healthcare more accessible, secure and patient-centeredthrough intelligent digital solutions.

From Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 June, in Hall 21 of BolognaFiere within the Innovation Area, the I3P incubator and the seven young companies will be happy to meet visitors and the curious as well as other SMEs, corporate realities, investors, institutional bodies, journalists and technology experts to exchange information, contacts and possible opportunities for collaboration.
