Argotec has recently inaugurated the SpacePark in San Mauro Torinese, a modern factory for the production of microsatellites created through the redevelopment of the former Burgo Paper Mills built in 1981. The renovation was the result of an investment of 25 million euros by the Turin-based aerospace company.

Thanks to this conversion work, it was possible to preserve over 6,000 square meters of soil and save about 5,500 cubic meters of concrete. The new complex covers a total area of 60,000 square meters and also houses the SpacePark HUB, designed to accommodate startups and other companies active in the space sector.

According to Argotec’s founder and CEO, David Avino, the production site will soon be one of the most technologically advanced satellite factories in Europe, capable of producing more than 50 satellites per year, reducing production times by 32% compared to current standards. The company’s goal is to consolidate its leadership in the space sector, both in Italy and internationally, promoting Made in Italy technology.

In parallel with internal growth, with over 100 new hires on the way, Argotec has signed a $6 billion agreement with NASA, which could represent a further quantum leap for the company. In addition, the future listing on the stock exchange is planned, with the aim of landing on the Nasdaq, one of the main stock markets in the world.
