From 16 to 22 June 2025, Piedmont presents itself with the largest delegation ever at the prestigious Paris Air Show in Le Bourget. Inside Pavilion 1, in the Italian area coordinated by AIAD and MoD, a 250-square-meter Piedmont Island hosts 22 companies in the aerospace sector, including prominent names such as Mecaer Aviation Group, Microtecnica Actuation Systems, Leonardo, Avio Aero, Thales Alenia Space, Altec and Lockheed Martin.
The delegation, led by the Regional Councillor for Internationalisation Andrea Tronzano, has planned a series of meetings with the main global players in aerospace, confirming Piedmont as an important technological hub.
The participation is organized by Ceipiemonte as part of the Integrated “Aerospace” Supply Chain Project of the Piedmont Region, funded by the ERDF Operational Program 2021-2027, and by the International Promotion and Enhancement of Industrial Assets Project, supported by the Piedmont Region and the Turin Chamber of Commerce.
The President of the Piedmont Region Alberto Cirio and the Councillor for Productive Activities and Internationalization Andrea Tronzano, said: “Piedmont’s presence at the Paris Air Show represents an important opportunity to strengthen the international positioning of our production system and highlight the technological and industrial excellence of the regional aerospace sector. This participation is the result of teamwork that unites institutions, companies and territories with the aim of attracting investments, promoting skills and building new development opportunities for Piedmont”.
The Secretary General of the Turin Chamber of Commerce Guido Bolatto: “For years we have been renewing our presence at Le Bourget with excellent companies that year after year have gained international prestige, orders and contacts, thanks to the major players in the sector, but also thanks to the qualified and competitive fabric of over 450 SMEs. We also take advantage of this event to meet potential foreign partners and present Piedmont as an attractive territory and catalyst for investments, for its aerospace supply chain but not only”.
Representing Ceipiemonte, President Dario Peirone underlines the constant growth of Piedmont’s presence at the Paris Motor Show: “Piedmont’s numbers are growing in this edition of the Paris Motor Show. With 22 companies gathered in alarge central area, the largest ever set up, this delegation is the largest that Ceipiemonte has ever organized at the Paris Air Show. An important signal also in view of the tenth edition of the Aerospace & Defense Meetings in Turin, scheduled for December. The solidity and attractiveness of our ecosystem is also testified by the 80 dossiers of foreign companies in the aerospace sector that are considering investing in our territory”.
The Paris Air Show thus represents a key opportunity for Piedmont, which continues to consolidate itself as a pole of excellence in the European aerospace industry, fostering international collaborations and the technological development of the territory.
