Our city will be the first stop on the journey through Italian excellence of the Forbes Italian Excellence tour, an initiative promoted by Forbes Italia to enhance the most significant entrepreneurial realities of the country. On 19 February, at the Hotel Principi di Piemonte, a meeting will be held that will give voice to entrepreneurs, artisans, young innovators and institutional representatives, engaged daily in the development and transformation of the local economic and social fabric.
Nicola Formichella, CEO of Forbes Italia, said: “Turin is an important city from a historical, artistic, architectural point of view, but also from an entrepreneurial point of view. All the main players of the province will participate in our event, who will talk about themselves and discuss the key issues of the moment. Our tour represents an important opportunity to meet them, tell them and celebrate them, trying to understand the secrets to protect and promote our greatest treasure: Made in Italy“.
The meeting will be divided into round tables and interviews, with the participation of leading figures such as Alessandro Rossi, director of Forbes Italia, Andrea Tronzano, regional councilor for Budget and Finance, and Paolo Chiavarino, councilor for Commerce and Markets of the Municipality of Turin, who will bring their institutional greetings. The debate will also involve local companies, trade associations and guests who, with their work, contribute to the growth of the city. Turin stands out for its solid industrial and artisan tradition, constantly growing exports and particular attention to innovation, evidenced by the presence of cutting-edge realities.
The event, moderated by Forbes journalist Enzo Argante, will also be a stage for the most promising startups in the area, offering a unique opportunity to learn about new emerging realities: in this phase of the event we will also be involved at ToTeM Torino Tech Map as speakers in a panel on the topic.
This stage marks the beginning of the 2025 tour, which will touch several Italian cities, including Palermo, Bologna, Bari and Rome, after the 2024 editions that stopped in Verona and Naples. The Turin event will represent not only an opportunity to celebrate local excellence, but also a moment of discussion and networking between entrepreneurs, managers and institutions, strengthening the link between tradition and innovation in the Italian economic landscape.
