A scooter Made in Turin at NAStartUp Play in Naples

NAStartUp Play is the streaming version of the Neapolitan startup training course led by Antonio Prigiobbo and the three accelerators Barbara Feluca, Brigida Ardolino and Federica Ferriero.

NAStartUp is a nonprofit startup and startup ecosystem accelerator, which recently received the Best Startup Experience in Europe award from UBI Global, that has created a free, monthly event where its community of 8,000 talents from Naples and beyond can meet virtually.

"NAStartUp has always made the spirit of contamination of knowledge its own. With the Unlock initiatives we want to open the world of startups to different environments: with Unlock Women we have invited the talents of women to participate even more actively in the ecosystem, with Unlock School we want to excite boys and girls to the themes of technology and with Unlock Museum we want to offer ideas for the digitization of museums", explains Antonio Prigiobbo, Founder & Managing Director of the NAStartUp community.

During the showcase of the monthly event in March there has also been Salvatore Avantaggiato, from Turin, creator of the TWOinONE electric scooter: an urban transport that can become a trolley invented by the designer, who has 30 years of experience in the automotive sector, the last 5 spent in Ferrari. TWOinONE is all about practicality: when used as a scooter, thanks to the large footrest, the high handlebars, the large wheels (20" front and 16" rear) with inner tubes that cushion even bumpy and uneven city roads, and folded in trolley mode, easy to carry and with a basket dedicated to transporting daily shopping or small loads of various kinds.

Once on the market, TWOinONE also wants to become synonymous of safety: it will in fact be sold with an equipment including a protective helmet with an integrated direction indicator on the nape and a reflective jacket that guarantees maximum visibility in all conditions. A sensor inside the helmet is also being developed which, if not properly fastened, prevents the scooter from being switched on and set in motion. Currently Salvatore Avantaggiato is still looking for a buyer for his project or an industrial partner for the production of his prototype.
