Artificial intelligence project to help learn new languages presented in Turin

21 September 2022
Hunt For Europe 2.0 involved EnAIP Piedmont and five other European training agencies for a total of two years of work.

An artificial intelligence for learning languages: this is the core of the project Hunt For Europe 2.0, funded by the Erasmus Plus and implemented by EnAIP Piemonte together with Die Berater Unternehmensberatungs Gesellschaft (Austria), LudusXR (Denmark), MTU (Ireland), Wisamar (Germany) and Vardakeios School Of Indigent Children (Greece).

The innovative learning system is aimed at boys and girls, especially migrants, who, despite being trained in formal educational settings, are experiencing language difficulties. European research has contributed to the development of over 300 quizzes and exercises that constitute a set of digital learning materials in which artificial intelligence guides the user by stimulating learning through the use of 3D multiplayer game experiences..

The collaboration of different people, schools and cultures has enabled the realisation of a highly innovative method of learning new languages. Each teacher will also be able to gather immediate feedback that will further enhance the educational potential of this tool.

During the European presentation event, held on 15 September at the Centro Studi Sereno Regis in Turin and moderated by Francesca Costero, Head of the Social Cohesion and Cooperation Service of EnAIP Piedmont, all the main proponents of the research presented the project, illustrating all the details of this type of e-learning experience and the various teaching and learning methods it will enable.
