After the event in June entitled What future?, during which the participants connected with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Minister for Youth Policies and Sport Vincenzo Spadafora to create a shared document to bring to the government table containing their vision of the future, last Saturday was the second major event of this year with Visionary, the community of people who "driven by the desire and the need for change, without waiting for anything else or others, write the Future".

This time the question to be answered was “Which borders in the new world?”: Human, social, political, geographical, physical and spiritual borders were discussed. Every time we separate in some way from our neighbor we create a boundary around us but the human future with which of these will it have to confront?

Initially scheduled in presence and in 5 different cities, due to the recent developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the whole event has been redesigned digitally: all the staff and guests of the Talks and Panels went on air streaming from a 360° set surrounded by lights, laser effects and LED wall set up at the OGR Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin and connected with people all around Italy.

Visionary Days was organized in a continuous live broadcast on YouTube composed by motivational Talks and thematic Panels and more than 30 virtual tables on the Zoom videoconference platform where the groups have reworked the contents of each Talk by writing, thanks to theartificial intelligence LEE, the Visionary Days 2020 manifesto on the vertical themes covered: People, World, Man, Society, Resources, Spirit and Action.

People

How to find a link between people and borders, both those that are disappearing and new ones that are created every day influencing power and people?

World

How to live, conceive and see the world, how to feel part of it and what our individual contribution can really affect the whole planet, allowing us to overcome individualisms?

Man

Will the future be of man or of technology? What scares technology, what are the opportunities and ethical limits it brings with it? Given the social differences that technology can create, will man inevitably be more and more alone or will he be able to do something to avoid it?

Society

How to overcome or even destroy the social boundaries that arise from separation and prejudice and that, although invisible, sometimes seem more impassable than others?

Resources

How to deal with the consumption of resources, increasingly scarce, learning to manage them and paying attention to the environment? How can we rethink our models of development and growth to have a positive impact on the planet through more sustainable behaviors?

Spirit

What boundaries arise within us and how do we overcome them when they are self-imposed and we ourselves consider them firmly impassable? How do we overcome our certainties when they are clearly wrong, already for ourselves?

Action

How can we really act for a fairer future, eliminating the boundaries of inequality and entering into a collective dimension of change that leaves no one behind?

Also this time, during the lunch break, the Minister Vincenzo Spadafora joined by videoconference, reiterating once again how this project, born in Turin and gradually spreading throughout Italy year after year, is becoming a national reference for all those young people who want and believe they can write the future and sealing his commitment to ensure that the voice of each of them does not remain unheard.
