Awarded the winners of Welfare che Impresa! 2021 by Intesa Sanpaolo

On the podium are Museo Diffuso dei 5 sensi, Humus Job, Appenninol'Hub and LinkAbili.

Last week, in the Auditorium of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Turin, the awards ceremony for the fifth edition of the capacity-building programme "Welfare, che Impresa!" was held, dedicated to identifying welfare projects with high potential in terms of social, economic and environmental impact. In addition to Intesa Sanpaolo, the Fondazione Italiana Accenture, Fondazione Bracco, Fondazione con il Sud, Fondazione Snam and Fondazione Peppino Vismara are supporting the initiative. Tiresia-Politecnico Milano, Impacton, Aiccon and Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell'Amore have also provided scientific support for the evaluation of the competing projects.

Of the almost 600 applications received from all over Italy, 185 were considered suitable for the first selection phase, 70% from the Centre-North and 30% from the South of Italy. The objectives of the call to be met concerned the social effect, the employment impact and the possibility of developing territorial connections.

All winning projects will have access to:

  • a personalised mentorship offered by PoliHub, SocialFare, Campania NewSteel, Hubble - Acceleration Program, a|cube and G - Factor;
  • a subsidised loan of up to €50,000granted by Intesa Sanpaolo;
  • a current account at subsidised conditions for 36 months.

The winning projects

Museo Diffuso dei 5 sensi

Award: 40.000 €

Territorial innovation programme, tested in the city of Sciacca, based on the concepts of community and identity in order to pursue the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being of those living in a given territory. The governance of the projects is entrusted to community cooperatives that operate efficiently and with methods borrowed from business practice but applying the typical values that hold a community together. Humus Job

Award: 20.000 €

Innovative startup with a social vocation to fight against illegality and caporalism in the agricultural sector. By creating a national network of ethical farms, it is possible to activate resource and labour sharing processes through a matching platform between supply and demand. All products will be labelled 100% Ethical and workers will be trained. Humus Job has a team of experts in agricultural contracts and management, in the integration of migrants into the labour market, in the formation of working groups and in the facilitation of relationships within them. Appenninol’Hub

Award: 20.000 €

This is the first incubator specialised in business development in the country's inland areas , which in addition to personalised coaching also organises activities and inspirational meetings with community members. The aim is to make the most of local resources and optimise the opportunities offered by territories by accompanying inhabitants and local players in the conception, establishment and development of impact-generating enterprises. In this way, it will be possible to increase the opportunities for those who inhabit certain territories in order to combat the impoverishment and depopulation of the internal areas of our country. LinkAbili

Award: 20.000 €

Aggregator of services through a digital disability support platform, providing guidance and support to carers. It is possible to make a very precise matching between the needs of those seeking support and the offer and competences of certified professionals or bodies in the territory. In addition, LinkAbili offers social services and third sector organisations interesting digitisation opportunities. Find out more

Other award-winning projects

Five special prizes were also awarded: NAtworking will have access to a mentorship programme, Willeasy Willeasy will have the opportunity to launch a crowdfunding campaign on the Ideatre60 platform thanks to the support of Fondazione Italiana Accenture, Humusjob will have access to the Scaling Program of the partner Impacton and Molise WOW will have the opportunity to participate in a mentorship programme and Open Camp 2021.
