The nine startups going to Rimini with I3P at We Make Future 2023, Italy's technology innovation festival

From June the 15 to 17, I3P and a group of young companies will be present at We Make Future in Rimini to meet the world of innovation.

We Make Future, the international fair on technological and digital innovation scheduled for June 15-17, 2023 at the Rimini Trade Fair, will host more than 1,000 startups from around the world. Among them, hundreds will present their projects as part of the World Startup Fest, the international benchmark event for startups, scale-ups and investors, in front of the WMF audience where there will be many of the biggest players ininnovative entrepreneurship in the digital sector.

The festival We Make Future held in June will offer many opportunities for meeting, learning, networking and business matching: not only at the World Startup Fest event but also at the booths of the Startup District, on the Startup Stage and at the final of the Startup Competition, among the largest international competitions for innovative companies. The young realities that will take part will have the opportunity to present their pitches and put themselves on the line in front of investors, innovation managers, corporations, incubators and professionals, who will award the best ones with various prizes to support the development of business projects.

Also returning to the WMF this year will be I3P, the Incubator of the Politecnico di Torino, which for more than 20 years has supported the birth and development of innovative startups with high technology intensity and growth potential. I3P will be present at the fair to meet all stakeholders in the innovation sector as well as the merely curious, students and technology enthusiasts. Representing the many entrepreneurial talents that have passed through the Politecnico di Torino campus over the years will be nine startups from the I3P network, who will attend the festival together with the incubator to tell about their innovative projects and take advantage of the many meeting opportunities offered by the rich WMF 2023 agenda.

I3P startups at the festival

Barter is a simple and intuitive platform based on B2B matching designed for the retail world, created to allow retailers to network with each other in total anonymity, drawing on products they need and placing excess products within a huge virtual space, with which to interact to solve inventory inefficiencies, reduce expenses and increase profits. Founded in 2019, Barter's entrepreneurial project entered I3P incubation in early 2023.

Climby offers a service aimed at climbers, both novice and intermediate, to support them in indoor practice and progression.The app provides targeted assistance through videos and QRs (on-site) that allow people to discover the method, improve on a technical level, and track progress. In parallel, the startup aims to support gyms through SaaS platforms (Software as a Service) to manage users and events.

Column is a digital platform of quality personalized press review . Thanks to its AI engine, through the Column app it is possible to read the best articles from leading Italian and international newspapers, suggested according to the reader's interests regarding topics, places and authors.The goal of the project is to provide an innovative mode of information and insight, that is reliable, plural, digital and customizable.

Fees provides an expense management service through an application for individuals and businesses. The I3P-incubated startup's platform allows its users to digitize and store expenses and documents with ease to have them organized in their account at all times, thus simplifying their management, interpretation and sharing. To digitize them, simply frame them with your smartphone or attach them to your desktop and the app'sOCR algorithm will take care of the rest.

Immodrone Immodrone was founded in 2015 as an innovative startup and, after completing its incubation at I3P, is now the first company in Italy and Switzerland to specialize in the creation of photos and videos from above for the real estate and tourism sectors through the use of state-of-the-art drones. The company also offers rendering, virtual reality, augmented reality and video editing services, aimed primarily at real estate agencies and construction companies.

Klondike, a startup incubated at I3P, provides a low-code platform through which the power ofartificial intelligence can be accessed and algorithms used simply through configuration modules and graphical interfaces. In this way anyone, even without technical training or specific developer knowledge, can automate and optimize their processes in a minimal amount of time.

Midori has created NED, the first smart meter based on innovative electrical load recognition and separation (NILM) technology capable, thanks to advanced machine learning and data analytics algorithms, of monitoring consumption of major household devices with a single measurement tool. After completing its development at I3P, Midori announced the closing of a €1.7 million investment round in 2021.

ToSwim brings digital transformation to the world of swimming: the startup targets the world of swimmers with digital and innovative touchpoints, engaging them before, during, and after their sporting activity. ToSwim is a community where enthusiasts can meet, share their passion, train, inform, and compete: a means to broker new connections and inspire people to get involved in swimming.

Ummy has developed a B2B platform to protect workers' psychological well-being, prevent stress and burnout, and reduce company turnover. Through a proprietary app, Ummy allows workers to express their daily feedback in less than a minute, enriching the user experience with gamification elements; the information is then processed to alert companies to high stress levels, specific critical issues, and risk of resignation.
