On September 1st, CNH Industrial began providing employees of its Turin North plants access to the innovative Myshuttle! service. The on-demand company shuttle works as a complement to public transport and helps the company to pursue its sustainable mobility goals.
Through MYshuttle! employees can book shuttle rides according to their needs and thanks to the technology of Via, a leader in TransitTech solutions for transforming public mobility, it will be possible to group several passengers heading in a similar direction and optimize their movement with the use of a single vehicle. This will significantly reduce the environmental impact of passenger transport. The partnership with CNH is the first in Italy for Via, which already has more than 500 partners such as municipalities, public transport services, companies and school districts worldwide.
The service operated by Bus Company, one of the largest passenger transport companies in the region and which already has a long-standing partnership with CNH Industrial, will connect the main local public transport hubs and will operate during the peak times for people entering and leaving the plants. In order to reduce environmental impact, two IVECO Daily minibuses with reduced emissions will be used.
