Personae, the programme of the CDP National Accelerators Network for innovative enterprises that implement welfare solutions or services linked to the individual, the community and businesses, has concluded the selection phase of the eight start-ups that will participate in the next programme, from the total of two hundred that submitted their applications. Launched by CDP Venture Capital Sgr, through the Accelerators Fund, Personae is supported by SocialFare Seed, a|impact, Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo, Social Venture Giordano Dell'Amore Foundation and Accenture Italia.
The programme will be developed entirely by SocialFare and a|cube, leading Italian companies in the coaching of social impact startups. The total project budget amounts to €6.1 million and is allocated by a dedicated investment vehicle. Personae will aim to support the eight selected startups, representing the new generation of companies offering innovative services, models and products aimed at improving people's lives. The participating startups will have access to an initial investment of €100,000 and will be supported for four months by mentors, advisors and tutors from SocialFare and a|cube and by Italian and international investors to improve and implement their business model. For the most promising projects, there will be a second follow-up investment of up to €300,000.
