Young Platform, a company that simplifies access to the world of cryptocurrencies for over 500,000 users with a segmented and heterogeneous financial experience, has announced the acquisition of Arithmos Trading, a company that deals with the development of automated trading systems. Specifically, the acquired company deals with the realization of technological solutions capable of processing information from multiple sources at very high speed , which can operate simultaneously and automatically on more than 20 different markets.
In this way, it is possible to maximize profits and significantly reduce risk factors, without the need for an evaluation by a human operator. The processes of buying and selling stocks, thus, are no longer influenced and conditioned by human intervention but can become more rational because they are based on preset parameters of time, price and quantity.
With this acquisition the Turin-based company also carries out a reshoring operation, bringing back highly specialized skills from abroad to Italy: in fact Arithmos was born in London in 2020 but was founded by Edoardo Degli Innocenti and Matteo Meinardi, two engineers with MBAs from the Collège des Ingénieurs. A big advantage is also in terms of intellectual property since the algorithmic trading methodology of the London-based company is a technology of its own invention and property.
The company Young Platform detailed the benefits of the transaction in a note: "Through this transaction Young Platform intends to consolidate its position as a leading Italian crypto exchange, able to bring new and exclusive features to its users in the future. The great flexibility and originality of the strategies of the London-based firm, which has developed three different families of trading systems, capable of generating net profits of over 70% per year, will allow Young Platform to enable in the future a set of new exclusive features for platform users, based on the most modern techniques of strategy design and artificial intelligence, and thus gain a further concrete competitive advantage in the market."
