The company expands its offer, turning to the world of expense reimbursement for lunches and business trips.

Satispay, founded in 2013 and active since 2015, was born in Cuneo and founded in Turin by Alberto Dalmasso, Dario Brignone and Samuele Pinta. The app allows you to make micropayments with your smartphone at no cost to either the user or the merchant. The app allows you to pay in stores but also to exchange money between users, buy products and services with discounted prices thanks to cashback cashback and manage your savings with ease. At the end of last year, the company announced the closing of a €93m round.

Today Satispay expands its business, expanding into the field of conventions in the restaurant world. AdvisorEat, founded in 2017 by Stefano Travaglia, is an application currently used by more than 16,000 users, including companies and professionals, to organize business trips and lunches: thanks to each meal, consumed in one of the 800 affiliated restaurants present in 40 Italian provinces, it is possible to accumulate points convertible into gift cards, vouchers or charitable donations..

Alberto Dalmasso, CEO and Co-founder of Satispay, commented: “The restaurant and food sector in general represents a considerable part of our 180,000 merchants and is for us the leading product category. We have always been interested in services related to this sector and in AdvisorEat and especially in Stefano Travaglia we have recognized strong skills, both commercial and in the definition and development of services dedicated to companies, as well as a great enthusiasm and our own desire to achieve something great. We have many ideas and thanks to this operation we will be able to start with the first services from the beginning of next year".

This acquisition allows Satispay to propose on the market a package of new flexible solutions for companies and professionals, especially in this moment in which the way of working, and consequently the company policies regarding the reimbursement of expenses for business lunches and travels, are changing.
