Inclusive education startup Algor enters the Club degli Investitori portfolio

The team that created the first web app to help students with SLD create concept maps will now have the support of Italy's leading business angel group.

With an investment of €180,000, Club degli Investitori Club degli Investitori has stepped in to support the work of Turin-based startup Algor, which focuses on developing artificial intelligence solutions to support inclusive learning for people with specific learning disorders.

Algor's team convinced the investors thanks to its scientific approach to the problem, which allowed the validation of the effectiveness of the proposed solution. In fact, Algor Maps was developed in close collaboration with the Italian Dyslexia Association to offer, through a platform accessible from different devices and in multiple languages, a useful tool to combat the learning difficulties of students with SLD, making studying a more autonomous experience and less tiring and frustrating..

Mauro Musarra, CEO & Founder of Algor, commented: "In Club degli Investitori, we have not only found financial partners, but also extremely competent people who constantly support us in all phases of the project. Today, thanks to their support, Algor has the opportunity to start a new path with the aspiration to shake up the educational technology sector and make teaching truly inclusive. I would especially like to thank Angelo Italiano and Anna Maria Siccardi for their trust in our team from the very first moment.”
