The main objective of the three-year agreement is to promote excellence in scientific research and the dissemination of an innovative culture in disciplinary areas of common interest.
The topic of digital transition digital transition and the implementation of the technologies necessary to ensure this transition is central to the Turin administration and constitutes a transversal objective of the entire municipal organisation. Mayor Lo Russo stated that the City pursues the dissemination of an innovative culture based on the use of high-level IT and digital technologies in areas of common interest such as Ecological and Digital Transition, Urban Planning and Construction, energy efficiency of the building stock, Innovative Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility.
The aim of the agreement between the Politecnico di Torino and the Municipality of Turin is to initiate a collaboration, both in research and study activities, and in training and teaching, by pooling specific knowledge and skills and thus favouring the efficiency of joint actions for the benefit of the community. With the agreement, the Politecnico and the City will be able to pool their resources and share objectives in a number of areas, including the redevelopment of the local area and the reception of foreign and out-of-town students, in line with the objectives of the Politecnico's strategic plan.
