The spirit guide of Turin's startups reunites its tribe: on Tuesday, November 15 at 6 p.m. at the Talent Garden Fondazione Agnelli auditorium in Turin, we will inaugurate a series of in-person events during which we will talk about the ecosystem, strengths and weaknesses, prospects and actions that can be taken to make innovation flourish in our city

Startup Genome's Global Startup Ecosystem Report

Startup Genome's Global Startup Ecosystem Report Startup Genome is a leading global innovation policy advisory and research firm that has provided advice on ecosystem development strategy and action plans for more than 45 governments.The firm is responsible for compiling the Global Startup Ecosystem Report, the world's most comprehensive and widely read research on startups.

As a result of a collaboration with Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Centerand Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Startup Genome conducted a study of Turin's fast-growing startup ecosystem. Indeed, a network of initiatives and realities supporting the development of new business ideas is developing and strengthening in our city, attracting interest and talent from all over Italy and the world. During our event the Startup Genome report will be presented, which includes, among the cases analyzed, also the most important and promising realities of our city.

Planet Smart City

Planet, born in Turin and headquartered in London, is a world-leading proptech company in the field of designing and building sustainable and affordable smart cities, neighborhoods and homes. The areas currently of greatest interest to the company are those with housing emergencieshousing emergencies: one of the most relevant projects, in this sense, concerns social housing experiences in India, in the city of Pune, where 1,000 futuristic but decidedly affordable homes have been built to form a 21,000-square-meter smart district. The four poles Smart City Laguna, Smart City Natal, Smart City Aquiraz, and Viva!Smart were also planned in Brazil.

Novis Games

How can blind or visually impaired people play video games? Novis Games is an innovative social-impact startup based in Turin that has created a gaming platform that allows developers to make their games fully accessible without sight, to give blind and visually impaired people the opportunity to independently experience the physical and emotional dimensions of a videogame. Novis' technology uses an innovative sound vocabulary to make each digital product more accessible and immersive-a new way to play that will enhance each user's experience by providing vibration and 3D audio-driven navigation of the virtual environment.

Eoliann

Extreme weather events have increased by 345 percent over the past 50 years due to urbanization and climate change, creating an aggregate economic loss of $5.2 trillion: Eoliann is a startup born in Turin during the first edition of Vento Venture OriginatorVento Venture Originator, which offers financial institutions an API for climate risk assessment and forecasting, leveraging satellite data and proprietary machine learning analytics algorithms to predict the likelihood and impact of specific events, to improve insurance policy creation and prudential disclosure on ESG risks.
